Garden View Apartment
The Garden View Apartment is within the main house, accessed by its own external staircase (sorry – not wheelchair friendly!) It was originally the servants quarters of the house. Today it is a beautifully converted and cosy one bedroom apartment with superb views of the Underhill House garden and fields beyond.
Parking for vehicles is on the main drive of the house, just across from the main house and with convenient access to the 22kw EV charger, which we offer to guests chargeable at market rates.
For outside space, guests have use of the picnic bench in the play area, with a view of the fields,
The bedroom has a Super King bed which can be split to two singles on request, and the apartment sleeps a maximum of two.
We offer check in through the week for minimum stays of three nights (depending on the season) with good discounts for stays of a week or more.
There is a large dining table, a well appointed kitchen with induction hob, and a washing machine. Fresh Linen and towels are offered as standard, along with basic kitchen essentials as tea, coffee, sugar, and a little milk for a refreshing cup of tea on arrival.
A welcome basket of bread, home made jams and eggs from our chickens (when they are laying) is left for guests booking seven days or more.
TV, DVD and high speed broadband come as standard. Books, games, jigsaws and DVDs are available, and, of course, a meeting with the Llamas, Aphrodite and Arrabella, if you wish it!
(On a side note, we’re sorry, but we don’t accept children under ten years old or pets in the Garden View Apartment).
Rates and Availability
Prices range between £85 and £135 per night depending on length of stay and season. Call us if the calendar isn’t giving you the flexibility you want – we try our best to adapt to customers needs, within reason……..
